Hello everyone! 

My hubby went and preordered my white PS4 bundle with Destiny for my birthday last week and we received 3 beta codes! Bungie will be conducting a public Beta test of Destiny from July 17th until July 26th, including most major modes and activities featured in the game, prior to retail launch. Please note that the Beta is a test and it probably will have some little hiccups! This is to be expected and will not be a true representation of the game play! 

How to order your Beta code ;

Go to http://bungie.net/beta and follow the instructions on the page to reserve your spot in the Destiny Beta.
You will be required to log in with a valid Bungie.net account, verify your email address, and enter your Destiny Beta code.
Once you have redeemed your Beta code, your account will be approved for Beta access. At a later date, but prior to the Destiny Beta live date, you will be contacted via your email address, allowed to select your preferred console platform, and given a Destiny Beta download code.
If you do not receive an email, you will also be able to review your Beta status at any time in your profile/ redeemed codes.

Hello everyone! 

I've ordered the white ps4 with Destiny bundle which is released on September 9th, so I thought id do a blog on the specs and game play for you all to have a read about! I will upload plenty more updated blogs with actual game play on my ps4 once It's released 😃

Working your way up through the levels you unlock upgrades for weapons and armor. Here's a preview of the upgrades :

Know your Guardian ;TITAN- Armoured engine of war,

Their lightning-charged fists will knock you off your feet. Their armor and shields make them nearly invincible. We like to think they are our faceless knights, protecting us from our countless enemies. But their power and resolve gives them the air of rising Gods.

Quick on the trigger and deadly with a blade, Hunters stalk battlefields as if they were hunting prey. Cunning and ruthless, they prize the undiscovered and prepare for the unexpected, channeling their powers by intuition and gut instinct. Gunslinger- summon a flaming pistol which disintegrates enemies with solar light.                                       Bladedancer- charge your blade with arc light and consume your foes with lightning.

Know your enemies ;

FALLEN are hardy creatures who can survive in a wide range of environments without heavy armor or complex modifications to their physiology. They travel light, hit hard, and are gone before you know it. Fallen may look like mere scavengers, but on closer inspection you will see hints of a splendid, sophisticated past, and the proud markings of their ancestral "Houses."

Grand Theft Auto 5 expected release date on next gen !!

Hello everyone! Exciting news that GTAV is expected to be released on 28th October 2014! That's 109 days from today!!

The next gen upgrade includes amazing graphics! Better resolutions , textures & lighting will deliver luscious grass, beautiful skies and vivid colours.

It’ll help increase the level of detail, because everything will be so much sharper and clearer. Softer shadows will make the overall experience more engrossing, but better lighting as a whole will make a big impact. The beam from headlights, the glare from the setting sun or even the reflections in cars will all help in that subtle sense of realism.These are noticeable in the GTA5 for PS4 trailer that was released during E3 2014. 

The next gen version will also include more animals, this may bring Trevor's love of hunting to online. Also create a real feel of being out in the wilderness!

Also they have upgraded the weather, which as we already experience thunder storms to sunshine, it may include more finer detail such as reflections in puddles or damage caused by weather, or perspiration! 

It's also confirmed there will be upgraded damage, which I believe it will be to show traffic accidents outcome, maybe more skin damage when we fall or get knocked into to. Perhaps to buildings if they get knocked into by traffic etc, maybe some signs and posts will take a dent rather than just fall down!

And more denser traffic and a much better draw distance, this will help build a stronger feel of city life!

Playstation 4 controller comparison to Playstation 3 controller - photos & information by @NeonPinkJenna

Hello everyone! 

This blog is a comparison between the Playstation 4 and the Playstation 3 controller! I will include all specifications, functions, dimensions & weight with as many photos as I can, and at the end a personal opinion. 

Ok so I start the comparison with the most obvious difference which is the style; 

The Dualshock 4 is the PlayStation 4's primary controller, retailing at UK£49.99. Similar to the Dualshock 3, it connects to the console via bluetooth 2.1+EDR. 

The DualShock 3 retails at UK£38.99.

The DualShock 4 is equipped with several new features, including a built-in two-point capacitative touch pad on the front of the controller, which is clickable.

The DualShock 4 features the following buttons: PS button, SHARE button, OPTIONS button, directional buttons, action buttons (triangle, circle, cross, square), shoulder buttons (R1/L1), triggers (R2/L2), analog stick click buttons (L3/R3) and a touch pad click button. These mark several changes from the DualShock 3 and other previous PlayStation controllers. The START and SELECT buttons have been merged into a single OPTIONS button. 

A dedicated SHARE button allows players to upload videos from their gameplay experiences.

The joysticks and triggers have been redesigned based on developer input. The joysticks now features a concave surface.

The DualShock 4 also features a light bar that can display different colors. The colors help identify players and alert them with critical messages such as low health. It also interacts with a camera attachment that perceives movement and depth by using the controller's light bar. It is based on the existing technology used in the Playstation move. Existing Playstation move controllers are supported on the PS4.

The DualShock 4controller supports motion detection via a three-axis gyroscope and three-axis accelerometer and improved vibration, as well as being the first PlayStation first-party controller to feature official support for the Windows PC platform. The DualShock 3 controller supports motion detection via a six-axis and the haptic feedback rumble pack. 

The DualShock 4 includes a non-removable, rechargeable lithium-ion battery tentatively capable of storing 1000 mAh. The DualShock 3 includes an internal 3.7 V Li-ion battery with capability of storing up to 570 mAh.

The DualShock 4 weighs 210 g (7.4 oz), has dimensions of 162 × 52 × 98 mm (6.4 × 2.0 × 3.9 in), and has a etched plastic backing to enhance grip. 

Whereas the DualShock 3 weighs 192 grams (6.8 oz), and has dimensions of 160 mm × 97 mm × 55 mm

6.20 in × 3.78 in × 2.20 in. 

The Dualshock 4 controller features several output connectors. Its stereo jack (3.5 mm TRRS connector) supports the connection of a headset to allow a user to speak and hear audio simultaneously.

A micro-USB port, an extension port, and a mono speaker is also included. The controller can be charged via micro-USB, a dedicated charging station, or the console (even when the console is off).

 The DualShock 3 can also draw power over a USB cable via a USB mini-B connector on the top of the controller. This allows the controller to be used when the battery is low and is also used for charging the battery. When connected via USB, the controller communicates with the console through the USB cable, rather than Bluetooth.

So on a personal note after using both these controllers, my conclusion to feel and comfortability is that the DualShock 4 controller fits more snug in your hands. There is more of a moulded shape for better grip, and the etched plastic backing material grips better. The Thumbsticks on the DS4 are a lot easier to use with the concave surface, compared to the DualShock 3's ball like topped Thumbsticks. Also the triggers feel smaller on the DualShock 4 which I find easier to use as i don't have huge hands so it's easier to access. The battery charge on the DS4 lasts a lot longer than the DS3. It's a huge thumbs up for the DS4 from me 😃👍
