Hello everyone ! This is my review on the Gioteck EX-05s wired high definition stereo headset. I purchased this set from Game for £19.99 in the sale, full price was £29.99.
These are compatible with PC, Mac, playstation 3, Xbox 360 & Playstation 4. I personally have a ps3 which is what I use them with.
Inside the box is a set of instructions and as they're wired there's an audio av cable. (red and white, which connect to the ps3 av cables, there is also a USB cable which connects to the ps3 USB port.)
The headsets cable is very long so it's not a problem for feeling too tied to the screen, about 100cm down the cable is the integrated audio controls. The independent intuitive controls allows full game control at your fingertips with a slider switch to mute and unmute the microphone, and either side has adjustable volume control, one side is voice control the other side is gaming sound volume.
The 40mm speakers offer a full ear covering enclosure to ensure an excellent hd audio gaming experience. The deep cushioned padding is extremely luxurious and the micro fibre material is comfortable and breathable.
The great stereo hd sound helps eliminate any interference sounds going on around you.
The brushed aluminium headband brings a very appealing look. The underside of this has padding, although it's not very thick which does sometimes cause slight discomfort.
There is a flexible microphone which delivers crystal clear voice communication. When you're not actively using your microphone you can simply slide it up along side the speaker and just enjoy the audio.
After personally using this item for the last 2 weeks I have enjoyed them and am very pleased overall with my purchase. I would highly recommend these. Exception quality and performance and very affordable.
